Donald Trump's administration announced Tuesday the suspension of immigration applications from citizens of Venezuela, Cuba, Haiti and 16 other non-European countries who were barred from traveling to the United States earlier this year, according to an internal memo seen by BBC affiliate CBS.

The parallel determination and dependency resolution and citizenship process for people from this group of countries requires that all people from those countries "go through a full review process."

The move was made official through a memo from US Citizenship and Immigration Services announcing an exhaustive review process designed to thoroughly analyze "threats to national and public security as well as any other grounds of inadmissibility or ineligibility."

The rules indicate that the suspension is a temporary measure while the government develops new guidelines on the verification of affected immigrants, CBS reported.

"The suspension includes the taking of all types of forms and the making of any final decision (approval, denial), as well as the performance of any swearing-in ceremonies," the directive to the Office of Citizenship and Immigration Services of the United States.

The official text of the new system refers to the attack that took place last week in Washington D.C.

For the attack, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, an Afghan who cooperated with the US forces in Kabul and entered the US. In 2021, benefiting from a special protection program for refugees from that country, he was arrested as a suspect in the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.

The Trump Administration reported that she was writered with the analyciated decision, but did not follow the policipation services, including customer services.

Immigration attorneys say some of their clients were denied citizenship hearings this week, including immigrants from Venezuela, Iran and Afghanistan, according to ABC News.

The performance ceremony is the culmination of an application process that can last up to five years.Crowds are often seen waving small American flags as new citizens recite the oath of allegiance to the United States.

The latest move from the White House comes as Trump blames immigrants and refugees for creating what he calls the "American Dysfunction."

Since returning to office in January, Trump has signed executive orders aimed at "protecting Americans from foreign nationals who may attempt to commit acts of terrorism, threaten national security, promote hateful ideologies, or abuse immigration laws for harmful purposes."

In this context, Trump has sent dozens of federal agents to major US cities to detain and deport undocumented migrants.

On the other hand, Trump told reporters that he does not want Somali immigrants in America and "they should go back to their country" and "If your country is useless, it must be for no reason."

"I don't want them to be honest in our country," he said at a cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

Trump said that if the US lets these people go, they will "go down the wrong path".

Separate comments are that authorities are reportedly planning an operation in the Minnesota county community, targeting people with deportation orders.

Government officials condemned the plan, saying it could create a negative impression on American citizens who could be mistaken for people from the East African country because of their appearance.

In his comments Tuesday, at the end of a televised ministerial meeting that lasted several hours, "I don't want him in our country. I'll be honest with you, okay? Someone will say politics. 'I don't care. I don't want him in our country.'"

"Somalia, it's just a country, you know, they have nothing. They kill each other. There's no structure," Trump added.
