The Provincial Council of Almeria, the Government of Andalusia, the Spanish Volleyball Federation, the councilors of the host cities and the leaders of the sports clubs organize the Spanish Junior Volleyball Cup that will be held in the province of Almeria from December 27 to 30.
The tournament will bring together more than 3,500 players and 215 teams, playing more than 700 matches on 28 courts and 12 pavilions.

This official tournament of the Royal Spanish Volleyball Federation will bring together more than 3,500 direct participants and 215 teams from all over the country, playing more than 700 games on 28 playing fields and 12 covered patches.
The sporting event had the support of the Department of Culture and Sports of the Junta de Andalucía, the City Council of Almería, Roquetas de Mar and Huércal de Almería, the Provincial Council and the organization of the Mintonnete and Albayyana clubs.
The Deputy for Sports, Health and Youth, María Luisa Cruz, expressed "the pride that Almeria will host the Cadet Spanish Cup 2025, a tournament that returns to our city that has become a historical symbol of national volleyball and a meeting place for hundreds of young athletes and their families".
Cruz added that "the sports tourism center of the Costa de Almeria is presented not only as an ideal destination for practicing high-level sports, but also as a destination for top-level sports tourism, where climate, nature, infrastructure and hospitality become allies in organizing top-level events and spreading the Almería brand beyond our borders."We are convinced that this tournament, in addition to strengthening the local sports structure and promoting a healthy lifestyle, will contribute to the economic and social dynamics of our voivodeship.”
Juan José Alonso emphasized that the meeting is one of the most important grassroots volleyball events at national level, which "confirms Almeria as a reference destination for sports tourism" and which has an economic impact of more than 3.5 million euros, "benefiting hotels, restaurants and local businesses".
The person in charge of the Almeria Culture and Sports Council highlighted "the cooperation and the union of public administrations in supporting these initiatives like other events held in our province" and thanked the Spanish and Andalusian Volleyball Federation for choosing the province of Almeria to develop this event.A notable effort for organizing a sports event with this massive participation and taking place in several facilities with large human mass participation."

For his part, Almería councilor Joaquín Pérez de la Blanca said that sport has become a “great tool for local development” and “in Almería we are clear: we want the city to be a better place for sporting events and tourism.This championship will fill the hotels and invigorate the city, helping to promote tourism, as we estimate an economic impact for Almeria of €3.5 million."
He also explained that "volleyball has a long tradition in the city and is the most played sport in the Municipal Sports Games with more than 2,000 players. This is, among other things, thanks to the work of clubs like Mintonette Almería, to whom I congratulate. It is important to instill a love for sports from a young age."
In the same way, the Cultural Adviser of Roquetas de Mar emphasized that "for the government, and especially for Mayor Gabriel Amat, supporting this competition is a satisfaction and a gift to ensure that our region shows the ability to plan and organize appropriate sports events", and "it is an opportunity to promote our city, its great park and its family tourists, because during these days, the players will visit the Roquetas staff of the Roquetas de staff through those who doteam."
Similarly, the councilor of Huercal de Almería emphasized that one of the "formulas" of the municipality is "to be a city of sports" and that "hosting an event of the size of the Spanish Volleyball Cup reinforces that commitment, strengthening our municipality as a regular venue in various Spanish championships and cup competitions in recent years."
